WHAT ARE THE RULES ?? Whether you are new to the industry or have been in it for a long time, there are things that can be confusing. Some of this is because the rules are not clear. Sometimes one regulatory body’s rules are in conflict with another. In addition, different types of vehicles fall under different categories. What are the current City of Chicago regulations? What are they planning to change? Howwill this effect you as an operator or driver? What about the other things that may have an impact on your operation such as Independent Contractractor vs. Employee, workman’s comp, RIDE act possibilites, etc. While it would be nice just to take reservations and run trips, we need to know what is happening and be involved in the process.
