| About the Illinois Limousine Association |
The Illinois Limousine Association (ILA) is dedicated to promoting quality service and standards in the ground transportation industry in the State of Illinois. The ILA was established in 1987 by a small group of operators to unify, protect, and promote the growing livery industry within the State of Illinois and the Greater Chicago Metropolitan Area. The purpose of the ILA is to provide a statewide and local industry forum for the collection and exchange of information pertaining to issues, including regulatory and legislative, that impact the member companies of the ILA, and to advance the interest of the Illinois livery industry and its members before Local, State, and Federal regulatory authorities.
The ILA is a trade association of ground transportation companies located in the Greater Chicago Metropolitan area and in other areas throughout Illinois. It is the intention of the ILA to provide educational and legislative assistance to its members and to act as a liaison for its members with the many State, Federal, and Local agencies that oversee the livery industry in both the Chicago Metropolitan area and the State of Illinois.
The ILA provides a forum for member companies to exchange ideas and expertise in customer service, industry trends, employee hiring, vehicle maintenance, regulatory requirements, and other industry related matters. With regular scheduled meetings, members have the opportunity to network with other operators, companies, suppliers, and representatives from state and local agencies.
The ILA is governed by a Board of Directors and maintains no vehicles of its own and cannot accept reservations from the public. For service and information, we ask that you contact our members directly, or go to our home page and click on the Request Information section. From there, you can draft an E-Mail requesting specific information about the ILA or information on the livery industry.
